 Applying for CCC Funding

Information To Consider Before Applying 

  • Organizations may apply to the College Capital Committee more than once during a semester or academic year. Any funds received must be used within the semester allocated.

    • If approved for funding, your organization will receive 50% of the total approved funds in advance of the event. Your organization will need to submit approved financial documents (including but not limited to, receipts, cleared checks, bank statements, etc.) in order to receive the remaining 50% of approved funding after completion of the event.

  • Changes cannot be made to the application once submitted. If there are changes to your application please address these changes during your interview.

How To Apply

  1. Accurately and completely fill out the Google Form here.

  2. After applying, your application will be reviewed by the committee. A CCC Director, in coordination with the BRSO primary contact listed in the application, will schedule a presentation time with the CCC. Note: College Capital Committee meetings occur on the first and third Wednesday of each month, please plan accordingly.

  3. Prepare a 10 minute presentation following the sample presentation format.

  4. Approximately 1 week post presentation, the College Capital Committee will inform your BRSO if funding is approved or denied.

Funding Limitations

  • There is no minimum funding request.

  • A maximum of $4,000 can be requested per project. The CCC may vote to support the funding request, but at an amount less than the total funding requested.

    • For “in-house” Broad College initiatives (compared to events like professional development trips), a maximum of $500 can be requested per project. BRSOs may apply twice a semester under these conditions.
